PLANTING & SPECIES
Due to the increased depth of substrate; intensive planting can be similar to ground-based planting; lawns, shrubs, planters and trees. However, due consideration needs to be given to the adequate provision of irrigation, orientation, aspect and exposure.
BUILD UP HEIGHT & WEIGHT
This will be very dependent upon the type of planting specified, however, as a rough guide 300 to 1500mm are the typical depths and weights could be in the region of 400kg to over a tonne per sqm.
